What an excellent pilot we had on Channel S, we had about 300 responses during a live TV charity appeal which lasted 3 hours. Each person who texted in (for free) got a thank you text response along with bank account details to make their pledge reality.
The Channel also ran a scroller promoting MyAdhan.com which was excellent exposure.
We’re waiting to hear back from the Channel on how successful the Freetext use was over a normal TV campaign. More to follow…
The first FreeText campaign on Channel S has raised over £50,000 for a charity, which is way beyond all the expectations anyone had.
MyAdhan and Channel S plan to run further appeals given the success of the first appeal.
